  • Supports NVMe & SATA M.2 (Gen 3 & Gen 4 & Gen 5)/U.2 and U.3 (via adapter)/Mini PCIe (via adapter) with its open platform design.
  • Log report management records all task details for better production management.
  • Cable-free connection for easier M.2 connections and disconnects.
  • Supports SATA I/II/III and 4Kn HDD
  • Supports M key and B+M key for all M.2 PCIe and M.2 SATA devices.
  • Supports SSD internal storage: Store and utilize several images for quick and convenient duplication.

The NV-BM is an advanced solution for PCIe M.2 cloning and erasure and is specially designed for high-volume round-the-clock operation. Its unique multi-tasking technology enables simultaneous copying from the internal image on the SSD drive or from the ports on the flattop open platform — with a high transfer speed of up to 24 GB/min (60 GB/min for high speed series).

We guarantee the highest productivity without speed degradation even as the number of targets increases. The NV-BM duplicator provides four copy modes: quick smart copy, all partitions copy, percentage copy, and whole copy, which can meet different duplication task requirements. The quick copy mode copies data and skips blank areas. Formats such as NTFS, Linux (Ext2/Ext3/Ext4), FAT/FAT32, and Mac (HFS, HFSX, HFS+) are all supported with quick copy mode. This feature greatly increases efficiency when it’s not required to “mirror clone” the entire drive.

In addition, the NV-BM duplicator is equipped with a variety of secure erase functions such as Quick Erase, Full Erase, Secure Erase (NIST SP 800-88r1), and DoD 5220 Erase to comply with government and enterprise data security standards.

U-Reach Data Solutions Inc. prides ourselves with complying with top data security standards and regulations. Using this machine will help your company comply with:

Q1. What is the difference between system and files copy and whole media copy modes?

System and files copy will look for common formats such as Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4), Windows (NTSF, FAT16/32/64), or Mac (HFS, HFS+, HFSX) and copy only the data/format portions of the media. This is generally a faster copy mode.

Whole media copy will start at LBA 0 and copy until there are no more addresses to copy. Any area that doesn’t contain your data will also be copied.

Q2. When performing a BIOS update, a “No Update File” message appears on the screen.

1. Verify the BIOS file is unzipped.

2. Ensure that the update partition has an MBR partition table and is formatted in FAT32.

3. Ensure the BIOS file is stored in the root directory of the device without any folders.

4. Save the BIOS file to another device and verify the device is of good quality.

5. Redownload and save the BIOS file again. Temporarily disable any software utilities that may contribute to interference during the download process.

6. Please verify that the BIOS file corresponds to the product model requiring the update.

Q3. What causes immediate duplication failure after starting the copy process?

1. Please make sure that the source capacity is smaller and will not exceed that of the target device capacities.

2. When duplicating an NTFS formatted source device, the target device capacity must be at least 1MB greater than the source.

3. Please verify the source device utilizing a PC to determine errorless accessibilities.

Q4. Can it copy from a drive with a capacity of 500 GB to one of 250 GB?

Yes, but the data and formatting on 500 GB drive must be less than 250 GB. If you are using a GPT partition table, then the backup partitions will be stored at the end of the 500 GB drive. Use the settings option to disable copying the backup GPT partition. The backup will be restored upon the next reboot in a PC.

Q5. What is the internal SSD used for?

Users can create drive images either directly or by using the GOB software and then store them on this internal drive. From here, the images may be used as a source and all slots on top become eligible targets.

Q6. Why is my copy speed slower than the quoted speed?

The copy speed in the spec is the maximum possible speed. However, the machine can only copy as fast as the drives can read and write. Drives with large amounts of data may lose speed over the copy time due to heat buildup.

Q7. Can this machine copy SATA drives?

Yes, both NVMe and SATA protocols are supported. The machine inherently supports the M key and B+M key M.2 interfaces. However, the optional adapter, TB1589, adds support for the traditional SATA interface.
